The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is one of three Diplomas (along with A-level and IB) recognized by global universities and colleges.

Compared to other diploma programs, OSSD is far superior for its flexibility and convenience, as students can study entirely online. Upon completion of the program, international students can also receive both their home country’s diploma and an OSSD from the Ontario Ministry of Education.

Furthermore, students will not only learn academic knowledge in English and practical skills but also problem-solving capability along with completing their applications to the world’s top universities.

OSSD is a diploma awarded by the Ontario Ministry of Education to Canadians and international students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 for their completion of the program. The curriculum will be personalized according to the student’s career orientation, including the following subjects: English, Math, Business Management, Arts, Social Sciences and Computer Science.

To be eligible for an OSSD, students must obtain 30 secondary course credits, complete 40 hours of community service and pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).

International students can obtain the OSSD via accredited online courses, helping them pursue the same pathways as native students. The OSSD degree is an opportunity for them to unlock their capabilities and conquer the educational ladder by being accepted into prestigious universities around the world.
